DIY EASTER BASKET & WOODEN KEEPSAKE EGGS

4/14/2017

I found this cute plain roped Easter basket at target and decided it would be fun to paint Everley's very first Easter basket! I also found these cute decorative tassels from the dollar section and added them onto the side. Man, I love that dollar section.

I also found these wooden Easter eggs (also in the dollar section) and thought it would be fun to make a trail of wooden eggs since baby girl obviously can't have candy. She could play with them now and have them for a keepsake later on. I used water-based paints and a cutting board oil to seal them.

To ombré the basket I chose a shade of peach acrylic paint and added more white with each section. Super easy!

And I diffuse my favorite blend when I'm painting! Motivation and orange all day baby!
