I decided on a new blog series that combines two things very near and dear to my heart: essential oils and Trader Joe's. Right now I'm thinking of doing them every month on a Tuesday. Today happens to be the last Tuesday of the month but I'm thinking I'll do them every second Tuesday of the month. Aiming for consistency here (insert winky face tongue emoji).
In in each recipe post, I will show you how to use essential oils with all things you can purchase at our beloved Trader Joe's. I will also give you details about each oil individually and why I love it (aside from making things extra delicious). So there you have it, a delicious recipe and a little essential oil 101 to go with it!
This is month I wanted to share one of my favorite muffin mixes from Trader Joe's: Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Baking Mix. It doesn't need to be fall to enjoy all things pumpkin and I'm just happy they have this mix year round!
What you'll need (one box makes one dozen muffins):
1 box of mix
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil (I used olive)
2 large egg
3 drops cinnamon bark vitality essential oil
2 drops nutmeg vitality essential oil
2 drops clove vitality essential oil
Follow the recipe on the box and add your drops of essential oils.
